Are you still using an account called  “admin” to log into the dashboard of your WordPress site?  I’ve seen thousands of login attempts by hackers, so I recently changed my login account by creating a new administrative-level user.
This video will walk you through the process. Â the only thing it doesn’t tell you is to ensure the login username does not appear as your “nickname.” Â You’ll have to edit your new user to change the nickname to something else.
