The Philadelphia Eagles are coming to Phoenix to play the Cardinals. Both teams are 2-0, both teams have won tight games, both teams have good defenses. Only one of these teams has an offense. But then, the same could be said about New England last week.
For Arizona to win this, the defense must stay focused and do to Michael Vick what they did to Tom Brady. In addition, Arizona must win the battle of turnovers and they must get the ball to Larry Fitzgerald. Fitz only handled the ball four times last week, and one play was nullified by a holding penalty.
The defensive side of the ball is going to be key for both teams, and I expect to see some big plays on defense. Michael Vick and Kevin Kolb are both going to be in a lot of pain come Monday. Still, if Arizona can hold Philly under 20 as they have the other two teams they’ve played this season, they have a decent chance to win this. This time, they have the crowd on their side. I see a close game with kickers and special teams being key.
