I finished the first draft of Rigel Kentaurus last Tuesday, so the total word count for the past week was pretty light–2353 for the two days I wrote. The entire first draft rings in at 91,530 words. It’s a little shorter than Neanderthal Swan Song, but unlike many writers, my work grows in revision. I took a breather on Wednesday and then did some ebook conversion for a couple of short stories.
A Nice Day for a Walk had been available for free on my website for about 6 months. I moved that into the pay area, but I also uploaded it to Smashwords, where you can still get a copy free.   Come to Slaughter, Pig! is now the free story on my website and is also available at Smashwords. I’m told the free price will propagate through into Amazon eventually.
This week I will begin the revision process for Turnabout. It is the shorter of the two partial novels I started my push to finish back in August. I fully expect it to be available in time for the holidays.
