Making any progress on Rigel Kentaurus at all this week was extremely difficult. There were numerous important commitments that pulled me away from writing. I only managed 3156 words in the past 7 days. The project stands at 51860.
This is a Y-shaped story with two story lines merging into one. We are getting to the good part, where the two casts of characters begin to merge and all hell breaks loose. Once the action gets going, I should be able to post some decent daily numbers. I expect I’ll have a bit more butt-in-chair time this week.
In other news, I have sold significantly better since announcing that all fiction sale proceeds from Sept 10-Sept 30 would be donated to Phoenix Rescue Mission. My numbers aren’t huge by any means, but the push has garnered more sales in the past 5 days than I have had in any given month.
