Several things are happening at the same time here at Entropy Central. My novel Neanderthal Swan Song is now posted in its entirety on my blog. It will remain here until September 1st. (If you are reading this after September 1 2011, you will notice a large gap in my blog posts, that’s the hole left behind when I extracted the novel.)
At the same time, I have been furiously working on completing the novel I began in November 2009 for NaNoWriMo. I expect I will finish that within the next week or so, and I project it to wind up around 70,000 words. It was always expected to be a fairly short novel, and it’s already longer than I originally anticipated.
I also have now come up with a title for that novel, “Turnabout.” The meaning should become clear upon reading the story.
Once I finish that novel, I plan to set it aside and push through the other partial I have sitting on my hard drive. That one, “Rigel Kentaurus,” I expect will be a bit longer. I plan to push through both, then work revisions through publication by alternating back and forth to keep some distance between steps. I intend to release both novels by early December.
Once I finish the novels, I will start working on my Fishpunk universe.
