I took a bunch of photos of my endler’s livebearers this week in preparation for a non-fiction article I am about to submit. Those photos I cannot share with you at this time, but there are a number that I rejected for the article for various reasons. This I would like to share with you here.
You will need to click the images to see the full picture. the best view of a female is unfortunately truncated in the bottom photo so you do have to click it to see her.
These are black bar strain male pure Endler’s livebearers. The males rarely get much over an inch long. Most of these fish that you can find in a store are endler-guppy hybrids. It takes a trained eye to tell the difference, but mine are pure.
This is a group of females. I rejected this photo due to forgetting to clean the glass before I took the picture. Notice the nice gold coloration of the females. They are about twice the size of the males. I keep them separated to keep breeding controlled.
