It’s been a long last couple of days. Sunday I attended day 3 of LepreCon36 and sat on a panel about the (un)glamorous life of a writer with Melinda Snodgrass and Rick Cook. The topic being loosely defined, we ended up talking about various aspects of life as a writer, and some about craft. Much of it was in response to questions.
The social media and 21st-century writer panels from saturday were better attended, but we had a good dozen or more people on sunday. That’s pretty good attendance for a sunday morning panel at a small con.
Related, I’ve had a surge in downloads of “eBooks for the 21st-Century Author” over the past few days. I hope people are finding it useful. Please feed back with suggestions for the next revision. There has also been a surge in downloads of “Magnetic Monopoly.” That story will only remain in the free area for a few more days, then it will move into the pay area and be replaced with a different story. I still have to create the ebook files for the new story and that isn’t likely to happen before Friday at the earliest.
