Sometimes as a writer we get a good idea, then can go right to work and make it a reality.  This morning, while weeding, I had one of those ideas, and because it was a flash fiction length idea, I was able to pound it out after lunch.

Two hours ago, the story didn’t exist, right now it’s already in submission.  It feels good (not to mention productive) to be able to crank something  out quickly.  Writing is so often a slog that it’s refreshing to be able to create without effort.
